NAGAPANCHAMI

Long long ago the siblings of 4 were there.one girl and she had 4 brothers,she wanted to cook but the the wood was not there,so her brothers said they will cut the tree branches and get it for her and all left to jungle.there they went to cut the branches,unnoticed they stepped on an anthill next to the tree and the snake came out and bit the... 4.so they dint return home.here their sis was waiting for them and they did not return.she was worried.soon she heard the news.she started praying god and the god appeared and ahe pleaded god saying it was a mistake please save my bros.then god told her to do nagara pooja with chimli and chalpindi and all that we do on festival.then she did all what god said.on that spot where their bros were bitten . to the ant hill she did the pooja,then nagaraja was impressed for her devotion and sucked all the poison,they became alive.then nagaraja said today will be the auspisious day for brothers and sisand will b followed forever as it was on panchami and it was naga pooja this is called as nagara panchami.thnx for giving me an opp to share this.


so on this day we do pooja to nagaraja,then get the milk after doing abhisheka,and get some mud from there.then go to our brothers and keep kumkum to them,give tambula,put the garland do aarti to them,apply milk in flower behinnd their neck upply mud to their eyes and ears.then yippe we get a gift from them.
